Think helicopters are
expensive and not for everyone? Think again! Helicopters can compete
with land-based cranes and are often significantly less expensive.
Think of the time
savings as well. With a land based crane, lifting a roof on a
large commercial building requires time consuming options that often
involve road closings, delivery of the crane, extensive crane set
ups for each roof portion and then break-down and departure.
A helicopter
substantially minimizes the time, expense and inconvenience and
completes the work promptly. For example, on a building the
size of a Home Depot or Lowe's a helicopter can typically place
20-22 Roof-Top Units on the building in one hour from start to
finish. The cost is almost always cheaper than with land-based
cranes too given the time required for crane set ups, positionings
and break-downs.

Sikorsky helicopters for construction lift and external load work.
The Sikorsky S-58E helicopter can reliably lift 3,000 pounds
internal/external. The Sikorsky S-61N helicopter can reliably
lift 7,500 pounds internal/external. Both aircraft are normal
category and are not restricted.
What we
do: We supply our own rigging,
personnel, radio communications and support vehicles. We have
experience in concrete placement and carry our own 3/4 buckets.
